Put together from two different youtube clips. I almost didn’t post this one because it is mostly from one clip, and there is a full version of this already on youtube. I decided since the highest quality version is missing the very beginning, I would upload my version where I use the beginning from the second best clip and then move into the higher quality version.

best song of the night from all the stuff I’ve heard of that show. I;ve always wondered why they didn’t do it live back in the 70’s. pretty simple, hard to screw up, sounds good w/ 1 guitar……

I’ve been a hardcore fan for 20 years. Even for me, it’s fantastically shocking to see that these guys can still f*%king bring it -hard! 60 year olds who swagger and have more sack than the entire entertainment industry combined. And of course Jason isnt 60, but he’s a f*%cking monster. He’s a bone fide member of Zep if you ask me.

Great sound quality. It feels like being there at the show without the ear damage.

Bout time they performed this live. Such a great song, especially live. By the way, was the side camera view taped during a rehearsal?

I can’t believe how good Robert sounds on this.

the performance is really awesome but the only thing that didn’t like me is Plant he made alot of mistakes on the whole song and his voice is completely burned
April 1st, 2010 at 3:05 am
You’re right. It was Plant who said that.
Page has been trying to lure Plant back to an album for years…decades really. Hence Page’s collaboration with Coverdale.

Oh exactly. If I ever met anyone in person who admits to going there only to get drunk and/or high, I will seriously kill them for sacrificing such a gift.

When you consider what they put it together in the midst of, it just makes you appreciate them that much more. It’s a kickass album in between Physical Graffiti and In Through the Outdoor in which they revert to some harder rock stuff. I think I read they busted the whole thing out in studio inside of 3 weeks which is crazy.

Sounds like it they were playing on the threshhold of pain.Luckily ,everyone there was old and probably hard of hearing! Anyway I would gladly risk tinnitus or even deafness to have been there.Who needs to ever hear anything else anyway after you’ve heard Zep live?~~~~

Were your eyes ringing the day after? lol

I think Robert has said it is the album that sounds the most like Zeppelin. It is just like all of there other output. Each album is an individual work and does stand alone. It was where the band was at that time of the career.
April 1st, 2010 at 7:59 am
That sounds more like something Robert would have said. I think the quote is bs anyway. There was a pro shot done of the show. It was preserved for posterity. I guess Jimmy has been hoping to wrangle Robert into a tour or another album, but since that ain’t happening this may surface eventually.

page was quoted saying it would “take away from the one off nature of it” which is bullshit

I bet John B. was grooving that night as well. R.I.P.

If you don’t like Presence, you don’t like rock. I can’t understand how even Zep “fans” underestimate this album so much. Achilles, For your Life, Nobody’s fault but mine…
Whiss–kerrrss!!!
