not at all lol. most of it is actually post hardcore, than you have some heavy christian melodic metal. but the impending doom track is obviously screwed up. anyways, some people call this genre unblack metal. but yeah..

im a big fan of switchfoot, got all their albums, but i also really like some heavier bands like underoath ( fav song atm desperate times desperate measures ) and norma jean ( fav song atm bayonetwork or and there will be a swarm of hornets ) and the chariot ( daggers ) but im not saying switchfoot and that type is bad! i love it too! i like bands such as pillar, disciple, falling up, relient k, family force 5 ( my all time favorite!!) so dont just say this music is garbage cause u dont like it
