Former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher says he is enjoying life after his acrimonious split with brother Noel – and ruled out a reunion. Speaking at the launch of his clothing label at the Manchester branch of Selfridge’s, the singer said he was looking forward to performing with his new band. He also said he had no animosity towards his brother, beside whom he spent years performing in one of the most successful rock bands of all time. “He’s doing his thing, we’re doing our thing, I wish him all the best,” he said. “I don’t wish him anything bad, I’m his brother. I love him to death.” He added that stories of wild rows between the two were wide of the mark as they barely spoke to each other when off stage. He added that his only message for Noel would be “Good luck mate – see you in the next world. Don’t be late!”

Basically, it’s a glorification of my favorite fight scenes to one of the greatest classic rock songs. This is the ultimate good vs. evil vid. Hope the beginning makes that clear! Enjoy, rate, and comment!! : ) My favorites battles (portrayed in this video): 1. Azula vs. Aang in The Drill (Azula pwns) 2. Zuko vs. Katara in sotn (first time with fire vs. water!) 3. Katara vs. Mai in Return to Omashu (the knives go right at her eye and she DOESN’T EVEN FLINCH) 4. Toph vs. Earthbenders in The Blind Bandit 5. Zuko vs. Random Guys in Zuko Alone 6. The whole Crossroads of Destiny battle, it just rocks. After listening to classical music, one can quickly perform some spatial tasks such as adults can quickly solve jigsaw puzzle. This is because the classical music pathways are similar to the pathways used in spatial reasoning. Listening to classical music, these pathways are “turned on” and are ready to be used. This is how you can solve puzzle quickly but lasts for a short time after listening to music. Playing an instrument also improves the spatial skills as research has proved that music training creates new pathways in the brain.

The structure of classical music is much complex as compared to rock, jazz or pop. Child who listens to classical music easily picks out the structure and recognizes any classical music he has heard before. Therefore, listening t o classical music has a different effect as compared to other forms of music.

Corporate Advertising Breathes New Life into Classic “Rock and Roll”

Whether itâs Led Zeppelinâs “Rock and Roll” playing to the baby boomer generation on behalf of General Motors or Mountainâs “Mississippi Queen” helping to set the tone for a steamy Budweiser commercial, corporations are turning to well known rock anthems to help push their ad campaigns.
Classic rock is nothing new to the advertising industry. The Beatles “Revolution” was one of the first examples of an instantly recognizable refrain featured in a major ad campaign for Nike. The success of that campaign seemed to open the floodgates for product manufacturers taking consumers on a well-received trip down memory lane. Apparently, everything old is new again.
So, why the sudden interest in tracks that are well past their prime? In all likelihood, a combination of factors contributes to the tenable use of songs that have been part of our musical landscape for decades. Certainly the generational appeal to those who experienced their golden years during the 60âs and 70âs canât be overlooked, but other considerations are equally plausible.
The once mighty classic rock radio format has become less and less popular in recent years as younger listeners lean understandably toward a more modern play list. The result of this shift can be seen in a generation almost completely unfamiliar with classic rock stalwarts that older generations are often overly familiar with. Advertisers are keenly aware that the standards of the era can not only induce nostalgia in older demographics, but also invoke curiosity from younger demographics as well. Interest in the music used for a commercial, no matter who it comes from, can easily lead to interest in the products being advertised.
In some cases, the song itself serves a greater purpose than to merely supply background noise for product visuals. A recent ad for Volkswagen featured a parked car with a young driver miming robotically to the infamous Styx tune “Mr. Roboto”. Only when the door to the car is opened do viewers hear the campy strains of the million selling single. The ability to enjoy this guiltiest of pleasures without others being aware is meant to extol the virtues of Volkswagenâs engineering excellence that results in a quiet ride. While the purpose of using that particular song may have been lost on many, the inclusion of it made for a popular ad.
Whether or not the trend toward classic rock in advertising will continue is anyoneâs guess. While there are almost an unlimited number of potential hits to choose from, licensing considerations keep many of the most popular offerings off the table. Considering that advertisements may be the only way that younger generations might gain exposure to arguably some of the greatest music of the past century, using classic rock songs for marketing seems less like a sell out and more like an opportunity to introduce the music of the past to the consumers of the future.
