Rocket Queen Appetite For Destruction Guns ‘N’ Roses

Copyright 1987 Geffen Taken From Wikipedia “Rocket Queen” is the last song on Appetite for Destruction, the debut album from hard rock band Guns N’ Roses. I wrote this song for this girl who was gonna have a band and she was gonna call it Rocket Queen. She kinda kept me alive for a while. The last part of the song is my message to this person, or anybody else who can get something out of it. It’s like there’s hope and a friendship note at the end of the song. For that song there was also something I tried to work out with various people—a recorded sex act. It was somewhat spontaneous but premeditated; something I wanted to put on the record. —Axl Rose An Interview With The Gunners, Hit Parader – March 1988 A credit in the booklet for Appetite for Destruction reads “Barbi (Rocket Queen) Von Grief”, implying that she was “this girl” Rose mentions in the quote. Slash states that he and Duff McKagan wrote the main riff to “Rocket Queen” when they first got together, before either of them had joined Hollywood Rose or LA Guns. It has also been said that Rose brought a woman, Adriana Smith, to the studio for recording. Steve Thompson, an engineer on the album, said the following in an interview: Axl wanted some pornographic sounds on Rocket Queen, so he brought a girl in and they had sex in the studio. We wound up recording about 30 minutes of sex noises. If you listen to the break on Rocket Queen it’s in there. It was later stated in the music magazine Classic Rock, as well as

Roses Speedy Will Be The Another Classic Designer Handbag

Roses speedy will be the another classic designer handbag. Absolutely! Part of the LV tribute to Stephen Sprouse collection, the rose speedy is the buzz in the fashion world these days. It wasn’t quite sold on this bag at first bec. it’s kinda loud for my taste but everytime I get glance on it, it’s kind of growing on me especially when I saw Agyness Deyn toting one (it looks cool on her but then she looks good on everything).

I think I am going to cave in with the masses! I want the Louis Vuitton roses Speedy! I fought hard with myself to not want it but whenever I see it in public, I really want one. The Speedy, really, is the introduction to owning premier handbags. I know Nina Garcia wrote that it’s an essential to any collection, and she is right. But, everyone has one! That’s what bothering me! I prefer bags that I know not many people will own and that makes it much more special. But, I really secretly like the Speedy. (Well, it’s not a secret anymore, is it?) So, here they are. I’m really digging the Epi Leather, although it costs more. Actually, this is spectacular in person that i’m loving this collection….it reminds me of the time LV put cherries on the canvas bags years ago. To me it seems like the same concept, use of same color but different design. I saw this collection at Bal Harbour the weekend it launched and its stunning in person, the colors are so vibrant! I personally will be purchasing from the line, while I agree with luvhautecouture on “dated” items. I kind of look at this one as an art piece (might be a bit of a stretch), tribute to an amazing designer and artist. I bought the neverfull roses and I don’t care what anyone thinks, I love it! As far as it not being “cool” in 2 years, it is Louis! It is always “cool”! Besides, the print is roses, which are classic. I don’t think this will ever go out of style. At first I did not like the graffiti bags, but they are slowly growing on me. I think a lot of people don’t like to see the vuitton bags being “edgy” or whatnot, but anyone familiar with Marc Jacob’s clothing lines knows that they are trendy and quiet edgy.

Actually if you take notice of something around you you will find that the most attractive one is the most controversial one. I think Roses speedy is just like that most controversial one. The bold and creative design really rock us and many counterpart designers. We are supposed to own this one which proves the milestone of bag’s design in history. I love those roses I love great designer Stephen Sprouse. I love Roses speedy. Roses speedy will be the another classic designer handbag.
