Well, It is based on the same rhythem and lyrics after King Harvest’s rendition of it.
Besides, I was just saying, I didn’t think anyone would care about it, let alone reply to it, it’s just a song with a catchy rythm and good lyrics, no big deal, right???

well stop saying “version”…”toploaders version”…or “toploaders version of this”…that would clarify everything..and you won’t look like an idiot….and who the fuck cares about what you listene…you should put that comment on toploaderss video…not here

Whoa! Calm down there!
I’m just saying I preffer Toploaders version of this coz I grew up listenen to it.
I know they’re totally different songs but I just preffer Toploaders version.
I don’t hate Thin Lizzy at all, they’re a good band

RIP Phil Lynott!

You obviously grew up having no idea what the hell you were listening to.
Seriously, HOW MANY F*CKING PEOPLE KEEP THINKING THIS AND TOPLOADER’S SONG ARE THE SAME???? AAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!
Just because it’s the same title doesn’t mean shit. If you can’t tell a turd (Toploader) from gold (Thin Lizzy) then you have no hope.
July 4th, 2007 at 3:35 pm
its not a different version, its just gotthe same title

I love Phil Lynott and Thin Lizzy! Phil’s voice was incredible and the music was so raw. Wish I was able to see them live. RIP Phil
July 4th, 2007 at 5:21 pm
The Toploader version is a completely different version…..
July 4th, 2007 at 6:01 pm

Great-lot of stuff to love about this song, even the saxophones work–band really swings on this one.

@ScageyGuitarist I heard this song on the radio about 2 months ago, went home, found this vid and spent the next few hours figuring out the chords and solo. Awesome tune and a great solo
July 4th, 2007 at 8:06 pm
I grew up listening to the Toploader version of this, which is probably the only reason i preffer this song to any other
